The Specialty Coffee Association is a non-profit organization that represents thousands of coffee professionals, from producers to baristas all over the world. Built on foundations of openness, inclusivity, and the power of shared knowledge, we act as a unifying force within the specialty coffee industry – invested in creating a worldwide circle of like-minded professionals.

Coffee education is one of the key areas SCA is taking an active part within the specialty coffee community. The Coffee Skills Program was just released earlier this year and was developed by coffee professionals from all around the globe. The Coffee Skills Program is the main education program within the specialty coffee industry and will help you deepen your understanding, experience and knowledge of coffee – from farm to cup.

Owen Thom, Education, Training and Quality Coordinator, from SCA’s Education Team will guide you through the Coffee Skills Program, help you understand the different modules and what you can expect from taking classes and finally where to find Authorized SCA trainers and their classes.

From bean to cup – it is an exciting journey!!!!

This talk will take place at 11.30am in Room 2.
